Packing light also reduces the amount of waste you generate from packaging materials, as well as the amount of waste you generate when disposing of unwanted items.
  3. Bring Reusable Water Bottles and Containers: Single-use plastic bottles are a major source of waste, especially in tourist destinations. By bringing a reusable water bottle, you can reduce your waste and minimize your impact on the environment. When refilling your bottle, look for water-filling stations, which are becoming more common in airports, train stations, and other tourist destinations.
