Hello, hello! Welcome to professional Happy Hour, where I share information about networking and a great cocktail recipe for you to try.

Let’s talk about the importance of networking as an entrepreneur. Networking is the process of interacting with others to develop profesional or social contacts. This is very important to entrepreneurs because:

  1. Through networking, you’ll meet tons of people that could potentially become mentors. As an entrepreneur, you want to surround yourself with people from diverse profesional backgrounds. Mentors are helpful to fill up your knowledge gap and a great resource to grow your business.
  2. You’ll meet potential clients. Networking is great for meeting potential clients and having conversations that will help you establish yourself as a leader in your industry.
  3. You’ll meet friends. As an entrepreneur, sometimes it is hard to meet new friends. Networking events are a great opportunity to meet people that are aligned to who you are. Many transition from business besties to lifetime friends.

Sometimes networking sounds really tedious to me because I’m an introvert, but I’ve made my best connections through doing it. In fact, through networking I’ve met some of my most valuable connections.

For this professional happy hour I am sharing one of my favorite and most refreshing recipes: Kombucha Rosé.
